This robot has semi-oval form and is made of durable plastic. Side brushes provide better cleaning in the corners due to the extended front part.
It’s available in two colors. The gold version looks very stylish.
Bevels of the upper and lower edges improve an overcoming obstacles and the pass-ability under furniture.
The model height is 3.6 inches. For comparison, modern ultrathin models provide cleaning under furniture up to 3 inches and even lower. Therefore, the value of this parameter refers only to the average result.
The upper panel contains a folding LED display.
The control panel is covered with a plate of durable mineral glass.
The robot is equipped with a modern orientation system that includes a large number of different sensors.
It includes optical collision sensors, IR – sensors of proximity and height, rotation sensors (Hall sensors), etc.
The upper camera with an overview of 130 ° is designed for orientation in the room. This robot also uses information from the gyro, odometer and speed sensors of the driving wheels.
The driving wheels are located approximately on the same diameter. Such a kinematic scheme ensures a turn on the spot that is important for maneuverability. Speed of movement reaches 13.8 inches / sec.
The hinge stroke of the driving wheels center reaches 29 mm. Its diameter is 2.75 inches. These parameters provide a sure overcoming the door sills and other obstacles with a height of up to 15 mm. A sufficiently large distance from the floor to the bottom bumper point (18 mm) slightly increases the maximum height of the obstacles.
Two front brushes send garbage to the main brush that raises it above the floor for further suction into the dust container. The optical sensor between the main brush and the dust collector controls the pollution degree.
The side brushes have five beams with a long bristles and five with short.
Tests demonstrate their high efficiency.
The main brush has six flexible petals of fine rubber on a plastic shaft. It’s located on the lever hinge for maximum effort even on an uneven surface.
This robot uses a certified HEPA E11 filter. It’s protected by a removable plastic mesh for large debris. HEPA filter is cleaned with a special brush or a normal vacuum cleaner.
Special wiping nozzle on Velcro uses the napkins of micro fiber. A moistened cloth ensures a wet wiping after dry cleaning. This mode requires disabling the Climb function. Accordingly, the maximum height of the obstacles is reduced to 5 mm, excluding cleaning on the carpet. But the company warns about the inadmissibility of using the robot on a surface with spilled water that is dangerous for the printed circuit board.
The robot has four main cleaning modes:
[su_list icon=”icon: arrow-right” icon_color=”#02810b”]
- Auto – one-time cleaning from the obstacle to the obstacle with the use of navigation (snake trajectory);
- Max – additional cleaning in a perpendicular direction (also snake trajectory) after auto mode;
- Spot – intensive cleaning of a heavily polluted place;
- Manual – motion control with the remote control.
- Turbo mode is automatically activated when cleaning on the carpet.
- This model supports the creation of a cleaning schedule.
- Spatial planning uses restrictive magnetic tape.
- Charging lasts 2 hours and 40 minutes.
- Testing showed very good results of cleaning. The robot cleans 97% of the garbage in Auto mode.
- The noise level is 60 dB in auto mode and increases to 61.5 dB in Turbo mode.
- Very high cleaning quality;
- Modern effective orientation system;
- Convenient dust collector;
- Original design;
- HEPA E11 Filter;
- Two side brushes of improved design;
- Function of wet wiping;
- Cleaning schedule is available;
- Convenient restrictive magnetic tape;
- Remote control in manual mode;
- Relatively high price;
- Very high noise level;
- Large height of 3.6 inches limits cleaning under the low furniture;
- Scraper sometimes clings to the door sills.
